The Home School Book Fair is very much a family affair. Many faithful families have helped to put it on for more than two decades. It was begun in 1985 by Kirk and Beverly McCord and operates under the umbrella of Hearth & Home Ministries Inc, the McCords' ministry to Texas home schoolers. All through the years the Lord's guiding hand has been on this event, as thousands of families have been encouraged and equipped to home school their children and raise them for Him.
